As a former attorney, he is skilled in balancing creative vision with realistic deal-making.
Away from work, Trent values spending quality time with his wife, Alex, and their two children. He’s a frequent jogger, an avid sports fan, and enjoys travel adventures with his family. Trent appreciates the creative culture in Music City and serves on the Board of Directors for the Arts & Business Council of Greater Nashville.
Jeremiah Pyron

Jeremiah assists healthcare and corporate office clients with their leasing needs, including the development and implementation real estate strategies to provide the best outcome possible. Jeremiah brings a deep understanding of the market to his clients due to his extensive experience in economic development.
Jeremiah and his wife, Mary Clare, enjoy spending time anywhere outside, including Warner Park and visiting the nature center with their three children. He has served as Chair of the Board for Friends of Warner Parks. They enjoy traveling, listening to live music, and Jeremiah is an aspiring upright bass player.
Stephen Songy

Stephen leads all strategic, financial, and technological initiatives for Sagemont, which includes leveraging the Cadby platform to help the brokerage team become more efficient and effective in serving their clients. A consultant at heart, he enjoys collaborating at the intersection of people, processes, technologies, data, and strategy to develop and implement custom solutions. Additionally, he prides himself on an ability to structure deals on complex development, leasing, and capital markets projects, with extensive experience in build-to-suit leasing.
Outside of work, Stephen spends time with his wife, Kimberly, chasing four small children around town and training at CrossFit to keep up with them. A Louisiana native, he enjoys fishing and rich Cajun cuisine. When given the opportunity to truly “geekout,” he attempts to keep up with the latest technology and data trends, including AI, IOT, AVs, and blockchain.

Carla specializes in providing healthcare advisory services with a particular focus on assisting building owners and occupiers with their leasing needs. Leveraging twelve years of experience working at the nation’s largest medical office focused Healthcare REIT, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep understanding of healthcare real estate trends and fundamentals. Carla is dedicated to fostering strong relationships using a collaborative, client-centric approach by tailoring solutions to meet their individual needs.
Carla and her husband, Micky, live in Sylvan Park with their two children. She cherishes spending time with family and friends exploring the ever-expanding experiences Nashville has to offer. She’s a big believer in the power of hot yoga and can’t be trusted alone at Target.

Matt spends most of his time away from work with his wife, Allie, and their two boys. He enjoys staying active, coaching youth lacrosse, and playing/watching golf. Matt is actively involved in his neighborhood community through the Nations Business Committee and the West Nashville Dream Center.

Lanier is a member of Sagemont’s landlord team, with a particular focus on the leasing of retail assets. Lanier takes pride in elevating the overall tenant experience with the leasing process. Prior to Sagemont, she worked in operational and marketing roles for both residential and commercial real estate businesses.
A native of Atlanta, she’s a big fan of the Braves, Falcons, and her beloved Auburn Tigers. In her spare time, you can find Lanier enjoying the outdoors, reading the latest on Reese Witherspoon’s book club list, or exploring Nashville’s vibrant restaurant scene.
Emily Dicks

Emily advises office tenants on real estate strategy with a customized approach to ensure their space promotes operational success. With a background in commercial real estate technology and a deep knowledge of Nashville, she is experienced in coaching occupier clients through the real estate process.
A lifelong resident of Nashville, one of her favorite ways to spend her time is on the McCabe Park greenway with her dog, Nellie, as well as exploring new restaurants and spots around town. She serves as President of the American Cancer Society young professionals board and volunteers with Preston Taylor Ministries.

Emily supports the entire Sagemont team through multiple program management services, including brokerage support, financial management, property management, and administration. Emily provides strong and consistent attention to detail to keep the team running smoothly. Prior to Sagemont, she provided clinical coordination and technical supervision for a medical practice group.
Emily moved to Nashville from Pennsylvania in 2017 to join the rest of her family in the South. She enjoys spending time with her partner, Derrick, and her family, as well as attending Nashville Soccer Club games and trying one of Nashville’s many new restaurants.
Bennett Wilfong
Project Manager
Bennett provides transparency and clarity to owners and tenants throughout the duration of their projects, including preconstruction consultation, ground-up construction, and tenant improvement scopes. Bennett’s work experience includes oversight of large construction projects for a mechanical engineering firm and management of acquisitions for a local developer.
Bennett is a native Memphian and moved from Dallas to Nashville in early 2021. He lives in Sylvan Park with his wife, Weldon. When not in the office you can find him riding his gravel bike, water skiing, or enjoying weekend trips with Weldon and friends.
